As an international photographer with a medical photography background, Claudia

has seen the plight of men, women and children who suffer from illness,

deformities and disabilities. With sensitivity and respect, Claudia puts The

Listening Lens to work documenting the important work of non-profit organizations

and volunteer medical teams who provide life-changing surgeries and urgent

medical care and humanitarian aid to victims of war and disaster around the world.

Since receiving her degree in biomedical photography from Rochester Institute of

Technology, Claudia has spent countless hours in operating rooms, emergency

rooms and morgues, as well as in dental and veterinary schools. She has

photographed doctors and patients, adults and children, before, during and after

surgical procedures. Each assignment is approached with professionalism and

compassion; each is an opportunity to document life and share the experience.
